At Bee Nice Wildlife, we believe in preservation, not extermination. As lifetime local beekeepers, our goal is to relocate hives from your home to their natural environment where they can thrive. We perform our removals close to sunset to ensure we capture the entire colony, preserving the strength of the hive so they can continue to pollinate our local San Diego ecosystem.
We start with a free inspection to assess the hive's location in your structure (walls, sheds, decks, or fences). Unlike standard pest control, we carefully remove the bees alive. We typically schedule removals close to sunset; this allows us to gather the foraging bees that return to the hive at night, ensuring the whole family stays together. Once removed, we also help protect your home to prevent future colonies from moving in.
Yes! We provide free, no-obligation estimates for all relocation services. We'll assess the issue, explain your options, and give you honest, upfront pricing before any work begins. Most estimates can be given after you provide a few pictures and explanation.
Absolutely. We work closely with homeowners to assist with any necessary repairs.

James showed up promptly at sunset to remove a wild beehive that had been living in a tree in our yard for a few months. Apparently the bees get chilly and mellow out in the evenings, one of the first interesting things he told us about bees while he expertly and gently removed the hive. While he corralled the bees into a bucket with a little smoke, he told us some more about bee life in general, and how the hive is formed. He is passionate about his work and even stayed a little longer to answer a few more questions, as a few neighbors stopped by to see what was going on. The bees are on their way to a safe new home, and the tree branch has been given a non toxic treatment to repel any more bees from nesting. Highly recommend James to humanely remove and rehome bees!

Many thanks to James and Esteban for rescuing and removing a bee hive from an old gazebo. They responded quickly to my call, and were friendly, answering many questions. It felt right to save the bees. And the honey tasted great.

Great service! Prompt and humane bee removal. If you have your hive removed early, rates are cheaper. Don't wait! This is a company that will take time to answer questions, explain the process, and explain what will happen to the bees once removed. Allison was extremely knowledgeable. She shared about the farm where the bees would be relocated to where there are sheep and goats and pigs, and more. She also shared about the benefits of local honey and talked about some of the products the farm produces. For those of you who do not realize or know much about how important bees are to our ecosystem, I highly recommend researching about it. We already knew quite a bit, but now we know a lot more. If you ever have bees, please don't exterminate them--have them removed instead. It's worth it!
